Description:
TRD's new Torque Differential
Performance minded SCION and Toyota owners prefer a Limited-Slip Differential for their vehicle!
The TRD helical gear type LSD differential improves acceleration and cornering. Open differentials waste power during wheel spin under hard acceleration. The LSD differential smoothly and constantly biases power to both drive wheels under nearly all conditions.
Consult the Notes and Recommendations prior to purchase. (tC Referenced, will be different depending on vehicle) Installation kit required p/n PTR39-21070XX.

Required items for installation of the PTR39-21070 LSD. Kit includes:
1 - 00295-01281 FIPG, 1281
1 - 90366-50072 Bearing, Tapered Roller, Rear
1 - 90366-57001 Bearing, Tapered Roller, Front
1 - 90311-50035 Seal, Case Oil
1 - 90179-20012 Nut (output shaft rear set)
Excludes shims and speedometer drive gear.

Note:
Self-installed parts (any part not installed by a shop) that needs to be
warrantied will first need to be inspected/tested by a shop to determine
if the issue is related to installation. After this has been done we
can proceed with the warranty as normal.

TRD Sport Parts lnstalled by Dealer
TRD Sport Parts are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of installation or for the balance of the new car warranty in force on the date of installation, whichever is greater, when TRD Sport Parts are installed by an authorized Toyota or Scion Dealer.
TRD Sport Parts Not Installed by a Dealer
TRD Sport Parts installed by anyone other than an authorized Toyota or Scion dealer are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of purchase only and the warranty coverage is limited to the replacement value of the TRD Sport Part.
